Misguided Miscreants

Miscreant: A person who behaves badly/unlawfully.
(origin old French mescreant - ’disbelieving’)

You step inside yourself in search of the truth,
Bearing boulders as barricades the further you bloom
Anxious shoulders droop to tunes of a necktie youth draped in tunics.

Drench your euphemisms in the water of love,
With words wiped plainly across pages
For the masses to bathe in.
Mastery of self was never a trail to take as lightly
As parables gifted from the able hands of the author of fables.

No tellers of truth to account for the change we remain in,
While we divide ourselves into 7 whole cruxes, crying divine perfection.

PHI be my bible, lead me home as a number,
So I may see myself reflected in the eternity of 1.618 runneth over.

I’ll drink from Her chalice of grace,
Bleed by His blade of glory
As deeply as needed
In this humble attempt to tell Their story.
